In five provinces across the nation, 200 000 cattle are anticipated to receive an East Coast Fever vaccination this year.
The provinces are Lusaka, Copperbelt, Southern, Eastern, and Central provinces.
This was confirmed by GEOFFREY MUUKA, Director of Veterinary Services for the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock.
During the planning and review conference for the East Coast Fever Infect and Treatment Method, Dr. MUUKA was speaking in Kabwe.
The Ministry’s workforce has been urged by ANNA SONGOLO, the Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Livestock, to be responsible and provide useful services to the nation’s livestock farmers.
