In connection with the 27 bodies of alleged illegal immigrants that were discovered in the Meanwood neighborhood of Lusaka, police are currently detaining four individuals.
DANNY MWALE, a deputy police public relations officer, reports that two further arrests have been made recently.
But he adds that there are still continuing inquiries.
Home Affairs Minister JACK MWIIMBU informed parliament last week that several suspects were being held by the police in connection with the disposal of the bodies of the alleged illegal immigrants.
The victim in the suspected unlawful human trafficking case is reportedly getting better, according to Mr. MWALE.
He also said that the post-mortem on the deceased victims had not yet been done because the police were still waiting for everything to be official.
