5 passengers from Same Car Perish after it struck a Sino truck head-on in kabwe

After the car they were in collided with an approaching Sino truck and trailer on the great north road, FIVE persons, including the driver, died in Kabwe.

According to Danny Mwale, a deputy police public relations officer, the Road Traffic Accident (RTA) occurred yesterday at or about 16:00.

According to Mr. Mwale, the driver has been recognized as 36-year-old Lusaka resident Nicholas Sakala, but the identities of the other four passengers, who comprise two men and two women, are still unknown.

He explained that the incident occurred when the driver of a Honda CRV with the license plate BLA 7479, traveling from Kabwe to Lusaka, failed to maintain his nearside lane and collided with an approaching Sino truck being driven by Amon Sakala, 32.

According to Mr. Mwale, the vehicle and trailer with the license plates AIC 2049 and AIC 2510 were on their way to Kabwe.

According to him, both drivers lost control of their cars and veered off the road.

“The Honda CRV’s driver and his passengers both suffered severe injuries, and they were confirmed dead when they arrived at Kabwe General Hospital for treatment.

According to him, the bodies have been placed in the hospital mortuary for official identification and a postmortem.

According to him, Mr. Sakala complained of pain in his arm and leg and is currently seeking treatment, while the other passenger on the vehicle managed to leave unharmed.
