700 Families Left Homeless In Choma

Due to the collapse of their homes brought on by the torrential rains and flooding in Choma District, over 700 families are now without a place to live.

Since then, district commissioner SIKALEYA GAMELA has requested more tents.

Additionally, Care International has promised to increase the number of flood victims in Choma, Monze, and Kalomo that it is helping.

This was revealed when the District Disaster Management Committee, working in collaboration with Care International, distributed some tents, food, and non-food items to 50 houses in the Namuswa ward that had been impacted by the heavy rains.
