With immediate effect, the operating hours for passenger clearance at the Kasumbalesa Border Station in Chililabombwe were changed from 18 to 24 hours per day.
The new hours are in force in Zambia and the DRC, according to Oliver Nzala, Manager of Corporate Communications at ZRA.
In an interview, Mr. NZALA stated that one of the resolutions from the meeting of the ministers in charge of commerce and trade from the governments of Zambia and the DRC included the change of operation hours.
He added that the two organizations would keep developing strategies to eventually achieve the same operating time for commercial freight clearance.
