Jub Jub has been vocal about proclaiming his innocence relating to allegations of rape, attempted murder, and assault made by ex-girlfriend Amanda du Pont. And it seems many are in his corner, including fellow singer Makhadzi.
The Moja Love presenter shared a screenshot of a DM sent by the Limpopo hitmaker, who offered him her support. Earlier this week, the hitmaker handed himself over to police after a warrant of arrest was issued in his name. After appearing at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court, he was released on R10 000 bail.
Jub Jub has been sharing quotes and comments about his alleged innocence on his Instagram account. On his IG Stories, he also shared messages of support from friends and fans.
Surprisingly, singer Makhadzi was one of them. In a screenshot, the singer shared a Bible verse with Jub Jub, encouraging him to remain steadfast in his Christian faith.
She added: “I love you, my brother. I know we are not friends, but I am your supporter from a distance”.
Jub Jub was released on R10 000 bail after turning himself in on charges of rape, attempted murder, and assault.

The charges – which were made by four women, one of them being Amanda du Pont – pertain to the period between 2006 and 2009.
In court papers leaked last year, Amanda detailed her explosive relationship with the Moja Love presenter, which began in 2006. In it, she claimed that the star had repeatedly raped and abused her. She also claims that the hitmaker attempted to “murder” her in 2008.
