Will Celine Dion perform at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics? Speculation is mounting that the Canadian singer will make her comeback at the Games after she was spotted in Paris on Tuesday. Dion met with fans outside her hotel, posing for selfies and signing autographs.

The five-time Grammy Award winner, known for ballads such as “My Heart Will Go On” and “Because You Loved Me”, revealed in December 2022 that she was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome that causes muscle spasms. At the time, the disorder forced her to postpone European shows on her Courage World Tour.

Various media outlets have reported Dion, 56, is poised to make her performance comeback at Friday’s (July 26) opening ceremony. A representative for Dion did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

In recent months, Dion made a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards and premiered the documentary “I Am: Celine Dion”, which offers a raw look at her struggle with her medical condition.
