Kawanu Supports Patson Daka Despite Formal Slippage

Kafue Celtic owner LEE KAWANU claims that Leicester City striker PATSON DAKA is presently going through a phase similar to that experienced by other football players but will soon return to his peak contributions to both club and nation.
DAKA has only made three goals and three assists in 17 appearances for Club Leicester City during the 2022–2023 English Premier League season.

Many have questioned DAKA’s performance with the Foxes this season, but KAWANU asserts that the prolific scorer will soon return to the scoresheet.

He claims that the striker’s capacity to perform should not be questioned because he can change the course of the season for his club, which is currently having trouble with only five victories out of 20 games played, leaving them in 14th place.
In a subsequent interview with ZNBC Sports News, KAWANU urged Zambians to support the player instead of giving up on him.

Yesterday, as his team was held to a 2-2 draw by Brighton and Hove Albion, DAKA started on the bench and came in in the 86th minute of the second half.
