Agreement For Commercial Projects Signed By Zambia And The Usa

A Memorandum of Understanding between the Zambian government and the United States of America outlines the creation and execution of strategic priority commercial projects in Zambia.

The Agreement is a landmark and demonstrates the commitment that both countries have to promote economic diplomacy and improving economic connections through trade and investment, according to CHIPOKA MULENGA, the minister of commerce, who spoke during the signing event.

According to Mr. MULENGA, the US should collaborate with Zambia by supplying the country with technologies to boost value addition.

The MOU, according to Camille Richardson, the US’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Middle East and Africa, will make it easier for the two nations to grow their trade and investment.

MICHAEL GONZALEZ, the US ambassador to Zambia, commended Zambia for taking risky measures and enacting policies to boost economic growth.
