It’s over between Ayanda Thabethe & her man Papi, who is alleged to have also dated Lerato Kganyago

Local presenter and model Ayanda Thabethe is single again after parting ways with businessman Papi Rapolai.  It just wasn’t meant to be.

Ayanda Thabethe is spending the first weekend of the new year alone after her promising relationship with Papi Rapolai ended on sour terms. ZAlebs has learned that the star left the corporate executive after he crossed one too many lines in their relationship.

The presenter has not commented on her changed relationship status, but this comes as no surprise considering that her entire relationship with Papi was a secret to most. However, a source placed close to the former couple has confirmed that Ayanda called it quits after Papi strayed from their relationship one too many times.

Although she has not confirmed a breakup (or a relationship, to be fair), Ayanda has since deleted all pictures that indicated that she was in a relationship with Papi from her social media pages. In the past, she had veiled his face with emojis and affectionately called him MJR in her posts (the initials of his full name) but there is currently no trace of any previous relationship on her pages.

The source explained to ZAlebs;

“Barely 5 months into their relationship, Papi was allegedly caught cheating several times. The serial dater, who has been previously linked to Lerato Kganyago and Terry Pheto, was busted with random girls while Ayanda was away working.

“She has unfollowed him on social media, and deleted Instagram images or captions relating to him.”

The source added that Papi has wasted no time in moving on from the latest breakup:

“While she is quietly picking up the pieces and spending the holidays alone, this week, Papi was spotted at several Cape Town parties and clubs with a range of beautiful women, even including model Iman Mkhwanazi.”

This is Ayanda’s second major breakup in the last few years. We are all praying that she has better luck with love in 2020.
