Seven months after the untimely death of Mampintsha, Babes Wodumo has announced that his last album will be released soon.
Mampintsha died on 22 December 2022 after suffering from a stroke. The news came barely after her management revealed she was working on two projects. Taking to social media, the Gqom queen revealed that the Big Nuz member had completed his album upon his untimely death.
On the other hand, Babes Wodumo also made it known she would be dropping her project, in which she featured the late Big Nuz member. Mampintsha’s album is titled. NgithetheleleA few weeks she was reported critically ill by the siZulu newspaper Isolezwe. The news came after she reportedly missed several gigs she was booked for, including the Durban July and Cotton Fest Durban.
However, she has since addressed the daring reports that thrust her into the top trends for the wrong reasons.
Her management made it known that she was booked outside of the country; hence they could not return on time for the two events slated for the first weekend of July.
In rubbishing the rumours, her management confirmed that she was busy working on two albums which are set to be dropped soon.
Part of the statement reads: “[Babes Wodumo] is in great health. Maybe her silence on social media is why they are assuming she is not well. She is currently busy with two albums, her own and Mampintshas,” Babes’ sister and manager Nondumiso Simelane said.
