On March 3, Yango won the Best Mobility App prize at the Tech Trends Zambia 2022 awards ceremony. Yango Zambia offers reasonably priced and practical ride hailing services in Lusaka, Ndola, and Kitwe. Yango Zambia debuted its first ride hailing service in Lusaka in 2022 with an attractive digital campaign. To help clients send and receive products more quickly and affordably, Yango also introduced a delivery service that used the same platform.
Speaking at the event, Yango Zambia Country Manager Ms. Kabanda Chewe thanked Zambia for its support of the brand,

At a recent Tech Day attended by key government officials, Yango revealed plans to launch Yango Deli, a food delivery business, as well as Yango Education, a program designed to help Zambian youngsters learn technology skills.
On March 29, 2022, Zambia launched Yango, a worldwide informative service for booking rides online. Now, it runs successfully in Lusaka, Ndola, and Kitwe, assisting in the creation of a digital platform for regional partners to offer daily transportation at a low cost to thousands of customers.
Since 2011, Yango has run mobility and delivery companies in 20 nations in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
