Catholic Medical Board Will Aid Malaria Warfare

This year, the Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) of Zambia will provide the government with medical help totaling more than 3 million Kwacha.

The funds will be used to purchase anti-malarial medications, according to BATUKE MWEWA, the country director for the Catholic Medical Mission Board of Zambia.

This, according to Ms. MWEWA, is because malaria continues to be one of the most common illnesses that afflict and kill children under the age of five.

She made this statement at the handover of a freshly constructed primary health care facility to the government in Loanja village, Mwandi district, Western province.
