As part of the FIFA 2023 Women’s World Cup preparations, FAZ has arranged two friendly games for the Copper Queens versus South Korea.
At the World Cup, Zambia is in Group C alongside Spain, Japan, and Costa Rica while South Korea is in Group H with Morocco, Colombia, and Germany.
The dates of the two matches are April 7 and April 11, 2023, but the locations have not yet been determined.
The two games will serve as a test of Asian football for the Copper Queens’ technical bench, according to FAZ’s departing general secretary, ADRIAN KASHALA.
He mentioned that every exhibition game the Copper Queens play is designed to help the squad get ready for the opposition they will face at the World Cup.
Zambia is ranked 81st in the world, while South Korea is ranked 15th.
