The second summit for democracy, which Zambia is co-hosting this month, will have a significant positive impact on the nation’s democratic landscape, according to Justice Minister MULAMBO HAIMBE.
Dates for the summit are March 29 and 30, 2023.
Mr. HAIMBE has underlined that the summit’s objectives include advancing the rule of law and constitutionalism.
According to former foreign minister KELLY WALUBITA, Zambia’s opportunity to solidify its democratic basis is in hosting the second summit for democracy.
According to Mr. WALUBITA, the summit is a wonderful opportunity for participating nations to use and support free, transparent, and fair elections.
According to him, the election process is the democracy’s PILLAR and HALLMARK.
