For a two-day working visit, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has arrived in Eastern Province.
Senior government officials and party officials welcomed President HICHILEMA when he arrived at Mfuwe International Airport at around 11:30 a.m.
JACK MWIIMBU, the minister of home affairs, and SLYVIA MASEBO, the minister of health, are with the president.
The President is scheduled to visit the Mambwe Level One Hospital, which is still under construction, as well as pay courtesy calls on local Chiefs.
Later, it is anticipated that the head of state would travel to flood-hit regions, including Mambwe District, where 120 homes have been affected.
Visiting schools and other flood-affected communities is another thing President HICHILEMA is anticipated to do.
