HH: Committee Set Up By Govt To Review CDF Guidelines

To make it simpler for individuals to obtain, the government has established a committee to evaluate and loosen the requirements for Constituency Development Funds (CDF).

According to President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, he will devote up to 70% of his time to ensuring that grassroots people’s lives change in 2019.

The President spoke to UPND officials yesterday evening in Livingstone. He also expressed his desire for young people and women to have quick access to CDF for economic development.

According to President HICHILEMA, the government used the first year to stabilize the economy, but will use the second year to focus on young people, women, and small businesses.

Additionally, President HICHILEMA has issued a warning that anyone found to be impeding the work of the UPND government will be expelled.

According to President HICHILEMA, all members of the public service have been given a year to align with the goals of the administration. Those who have not will be removed from consideration.

Meanwhile, the UPND has chosen President HICHILEMA for the 2026 general elections, according to the chairman of the UPND’s Southern Province, BILLIARD MAKWEMBO.
