Xi Jinping has received congratulations from President Hakainde Hichilema for being chosen as the leader of China.
His statement of congratulations to Mr. Hichilema stated that the Chinese people’s willingness to continue on a road of stability, peace, and development under his exceptional leadership is reflected in President Jinping’s reelection.
According to President Hichilema, China is a major actor in the world economy and serves as a model for other emerging nations in terms of social and economic reform.
Under President Jinping’s direction, he said, Zambia looks forward to a closer connection with China.
“We convey heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency President Jinping on being unanimously elected President of the People’s Republic of China (PRC)and Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), during the 14th National People’s Congress.The Republic of Zambia and the (PRC) enjoy long and historic ties dating back to the days of our founding fathers Dr Kenneth David Kaunda and Chairman Mao Zedong,”he said.
