According to PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema, his administration will collaborate with traditional leaders rather than compete with them.
Addressing yesterday at Community House after meeting senior Chief Mwata Kazembe, the President pledged to continue working with all traditional leaders throughout the nation and to treat them with respect.
“We had a meeting at Community House in Lusaka with His Royal Highness, Senior Chief Mwata Kazembe.
We reaffirmed the need for equality and solidarity, as well as the critical part that our traditional leaders play in society, he added.
The President stated that the traditional leaders are partners in progress in the eyes of his administration.
