Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the ongoing continuous voter registration drive to obtain voter identification cards, according to Kasama District Electoral Officer KASONDE MUSONGOLE.
According to Ms. MUSONGOLE, voters who are registering for the first time, need to replace their voter’s cards, or wish to switch polling places may do so at the municipal center.
She notes that since it resumed on January 23rd, Kasama’s ongoing voter registration process is going quite well.
Additionally, MAPALO CHANGWE, a Kasama resident who recently turned 18 years old, claimed that the procedure for obtaining a voter’s card is simple.
