K200m Required By Eastern Water To Join 6 Districts

To connect the remaining six districts to its water supply infrastructure, Eastern Water and Sanitation Company needs 200 million Kwacha.

According to the company’s managing director, AARON MULINDA, the utility has been working to connect all 15 districts in the province to its system.

When Mr. MULINDA informed the media on the company’s success at the National Water and Supply and Sanitation Council sector awards, he was speaking.

In order to develop start-up systems in the new districts, he said the company is hopeful that it will be able to acquire additional funds from the government or other collaborating partners and through the Constituency Development Fund.
