Social media rumors that the Ministry of Mines’ Cadastre department had been hacked have been denied by PAUL KABUSWE, the minister responsible for the development of mines and minerals.
Mr. KABUSWE has asked the public to disregard rumors spreading on social media because he claims the Cadastre department cannot be hacked.
The Ministry of Mines’ license system has security measures that make it impossible for anyone to hack, the Mines Minister told journalists in Chililabombwe, so the public shouldn’t fear.
Accusations that a private individual is in charge of and manipulates the issuance of mining licenses have been rejected by him as false.
The Cadastre system has recently been improved, and numerous companies and investors are already enquiring about mining opportunities in the nation, Mr. KABUSWE noted.
