Kasonka: Mwepu Is Recovering

Former Chipolopolo Captain ENOCK MWEPU, according to Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary LUCKSON KASONKA, is doing well and is in a stable state.

In a telephone interview with ZNBC News, Dr. KASONKA stated that the 24-year-old patient who was admitted to the Lusaka Heart Hospital after experiencing heart problems is being watched.

The hospital will wait until he has fully recovered before releasing him, the Permanent Secretary says.

After MWEPU complained of feeling unwell on Sunday, he was admitted to the Lusaka Heart Hospital.

On its official page, his club, Brighton, stated that their medical staff is in contact with the hospital and ready to help if needed.

The club expressed gratitude to all of the well-wishers for their support and messages.

Additionally, MWEPU is lot better than he was yesterday, according to Minister of Sports ELVIS NKANDU.

The former Chipolopolo Captain is in good spirits but is still being evaluated by medics, according to NKANDU, who visited MWEPU this morning.
