THABO KAWANA, Director Spokesman for the Ministry of Communication and Media, has pleaded with the church to refrain from being utilized by politicians as a means of dividing the nation.
According to Mr. KAWANA, the church should exert its power to bring the nation together and provide insightful advice to lawmakers.
He asserts that the Church must maintain its objectivity and take precautions to stave off those who seek anarchy.
Speaking today during a church ceremony to raise money for the Lubuto Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lusaka’s KALINGALINGA Township was Mr. KAWANA, who gave the church some money.
The chair of the LUBUTO SDA Church building project, RICHARD SIANJOMBA, also stated that the church needs assistance to finish constructing.
