A mobile money agent who was detained by police in the Copperbelt’s Ndola District is accused of stealing 17,000 kwacha and turning it into plain paper.

According to Copperbelt Province Police Commanding Officer PEACEWELL MWEEMBA, after LUCKSON TEMBO alleged that K17,000 of the K22,000 in cash he had on Wednesday had converted into plain papers, police held him.

Mr. MWEEMBA claims that when the tale was presented to LINAH HANYAMA, the owner of the mobile money company, she could not believe it and reported her employee to the police.
