According to Chanesa Tembo-Government, efforts are being made to guarantee that employers send the National Pension Scheme Authority-NAPSA the monthly contributions made by employees.
This, according to BRENDA TAMBATAMBA, minister of labor and social security, is done to avoid snags when it comes time for workers to submit benefit claims.
The Minister added that these actions are required to ensure that the labor sector runs smoothly in a statement to ZNBC News.
Ms. TAMBATAMBA also exhorted staff to continuously review and balance their NAPSA contributions.
She claimed that the government has noticed an increase in instances of workers having trouble claiming their retirement benefits, which is why efforts are being made.
