In Ngebe, Ngwenya Livingstone, Southern Water and Sanitation Company SWASCO is installing water pipes.
The SWASCO project, according to Namatama Ward Councilor KELVIN MAAMBO, has given locals optimism after years of water problems in Ngwenya.
According to him, homeowners are currently purchasing water from Highlands and other locations, which has turned out to be ineffective.
And a local, CHITETA NYUMBU, suggested that the water utility corporation think about building a water tank to serve Ngwenya, one of the city’s most populous townships.
