500 Bonanza machines have been seized by the Zambia Gaming Association in the Eastern Province’s Lundazi and Chipata Districts as part of an ongoing assessment to assess player compliance with the game.
The machines that were seized were put in unsuitable locations, like markets and shops, where kids under the age of 18 could easily access them.
The countywide inspection tour, according to association secretary general DARIOUS SINKAMBA, aims to educate Bonanza machine owners about the need to operate within the established parameters.
The confiscated devices, according to Association Vice-Chairperson MEMORY CHILENDE, would be returned to their owners after a warning.
