The home of Sibusiso Buthelezi, former Ukhozi FM presenter was allegedly vandalized as members of Isikebhe forcefully caught him after being on the run for months.

The former radio host has made headlines for the wrong reasons recently. He has been alleged of scamming through failed investment schemes.

Reports have it that despite being on the run, he was allegedly nabbed by the famous Isikebhe ground. However, during his alleged capture, the rumour mill has it that his KwaZulu-Natal home was vandalised as the group forced itself in.

Pictures of the vandalised home have been making rounds on social media. In recent months he has been accused of fraud and scams. Due to these daring allegations, Ukhozi FM was forced to fire him immediately.

Since then, several families have accused the disgraced presenter of luring people in KwaZulu-Natal, especially Nkandla, to join his failed investment scheme before swindling their money.

His family was allegedly hiding him in the wake of his woes. He was reportedly on the run in May after scamming a KwaZulu-Natal family R600 000 in a dodgy investment deal.

After several failed attempts to find a common group with the presenter, the family turned to a community group Isikebhe best known for assisting people in recovering their belongings.

ZiMoja has it that a family from Nquthu in KwaZulu-Natal allegedly invested in the former presenter’s Abombuso Poultry Investment Group but was scammed.

Against the backdrop of several meetings, it was revealed that Buthelezi reached out to his victims and promised them to pay but later posed several threats. This is not the first KwaZulu-Natal family to be allegedly scammed by Buthelezi.

In 2022 Ukhozi FM fired Buthelezi after a string of scamming allegations. The station revealed that his business dealings brought the radio station into disrepute.
