Tony Forbes, the father of slain rapper AKA – real name Kiernan Jarryd Forbes has recently opened up and given his son’s fans an update regarding the status of the late rapper’s murder investigation. I feel emotional, proud and also grateful that we had him. Though he died at 35, when he left this life he had made a mark on the world,” he told the publication.
“It’s not about the volume of sales. For me it’s that people want to hear his music, to remember him and feel inspired by him.” Tony says the investigation is slow but the family is patient with the process.

Next Thursday will mark six months since AKA was murdered. The Sponono hitmaker’s father, Tony Forbes has recently given an update regarding the status of AKA’s murder investigation. He said that the police are still giving them updates, however, at this point, the case hasn’t been cracked yet.
