Tourism Institute Seeks To Rebrand

The Zambia Institute for Tourism Hospitality Studies’ Governing Council is looking for 10 million Kwacha to rebrand the company and strengthen its financial position.

According to MULEMWA MOONGWA, chair of the governing council, the council is aiming to upgrade and extend the institution’s facilities in order to establish a learning environment that would mimic the industry graduates operate in.

According to Ms. MOONGWA, the council is trying to hire part-time professors from the industry who will be required to undergo teaching technique as part of the curriculum reform.

EVANS MUHANGA, the permanent secretary for tourism, expressed satisfaction that the group has a clear plan to change the situation for the better.

In light of the council’s work being supported by the government, he stated, is the approach’s clarity.
