Two others and a pregnant woman trick death

Three persons, including a woman who is six months pregnant, were engaged in a car collision this morning but were able to escape without injury.
The collision happened at the intersection of Tokyo Way and New Kasama Road in the Chalala neighborhood of Lusaka.

This occurred after the Toyota Noah, with the license plate ALK 509, which was transporting the victims, overturned after colliding with a concrete pillar.

After suffering injuries, the victims were later taken by a ZNBC crew in an ambulance to the hospital.

A number of citizens from the area came to the aid of the family who were en route to the hospital when the accident happened.
And the car’s driver, FREDRICK NKHOMA, claimed that he lost control and crashed into the pillar as a result of the collision.

Since then, Mr. NKHOMA has urged the Road Development Agency (RDA) to take into account installing higher pillars so that drivers can see them easily.

The automobile overturned when accident survivor PHOEBE NKHOMA’s father-in-law was driving her husband BRIGHT NKHOMA to the hospital for physiotherapy.
