According to the National Museums Board, the board is considering how to turn museums into complete tourism offerings.

According to ALEXANDER MUTALI, the chair of the National Museums Board, the board also wants interactive exhibits to draw in both domestic and foreign tourists and boost revenue.

Mr. Mutali stated all museums will be updated as he gave a tour of the TAZARA Memorial Museum in the Chongwe District to four members of the board of directors.

In order to increase visitor numbers, the team will aggressively market the galleries over the course of the next three years, according to Board Director for Marketing KUTEMBA FOLOSHI.

In order to open TAZARA Museum to the public, National Museums Director General GEORGE MUDENDA stated there are ongoing conversations with veterans in China through the Chinese Embassy in Zambia.
