The Chipata Mayor, GEORGE MWANZA, has a stable condition, according to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
The Zambia Flying Doctor Service transported Mr. MWANZA from Petauke’s Kalindawalo General Hospital to UTH on Saturday.
In an interview with ZNBC NEWS, UTH Public Relations Officer NATALIE MASHIKOLO stated that Mr. MWANZA is receiving medical care and is in a stable condition.
Last Friday, Mr. Mwanza was a part of an accident between the Petauke and Nyimba districts that resulted in one fatality.
Due to excessive speeding, the driver lost control of the car and toppled, causing the accident.
