Dabula, joins Uzalo Season 9 where he will play the role of Bentley Majozi. Producers of the show say Bentley’s character will keep viewers on the edge of their seats and “promise nothing short of drama and suspense”. Dabula has been off the showbiz radar after leaving Generations: The Legacy in 2021. He told ZiMoja that he nearly died after being involved in an incident, although he did not dwell too much on the matter. “I was pretty much forced to take a break because I sustained injuries in a near death situation, I could not physically do much. I don’t talk much about personal things,” he said. While on Generations, and when he was recuperating, he was religiously watching Uzalo. “They’re an incredibly generous cast and easy people to work with. This must be something in the water because the whole production team is a great vibe, very welcoming and deeply supportive,” he added about working on the production.

Ntokozo will play the role of Mabillion, adding another layer of intrigue as he grapples grief, vengeance and a puzzled mind. Ofentse Thinane, SABC 1 Channel Head was full of praise about the three joining the production. “They have breathed life into their roles, adding layers of intrigue and excitement to our beloved show.
