Zambia Expects $390m For The Fight Against Hiv/Aids

There is a good chance that Zambia will receive 390 million dollars to fight HIV/AIDS.

And the United States of America has renewed its commitment to advancing Zambia’s objective to eradicate AIDS by 2030 through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).

According to LUCKSON KASONKA, permanent secretary for the ministry of health, this also includes money that the US government will send to implementing partners.

Professor KASONKA was discussing the new PEPFAR strategic vision outside of the Country Operational Plan (COP23) Co-planning meeting.

This is in line with a statement made to ZNBC News by TAMARA NYIRENDA, the first secretary for press and public relations at the Zambian High Commission in Pretoria.
