Kelly and Zandie Khumalo sign a R22 million deal with Netflix

Tweeps have expressed their disappointment after it was revealed that Kelly and her sister Zandie Khumalo have signed a R22 Million deal with Netflix.

Blogger Musa Khawula alleges that the deal is to produce a documentary on what took place inside the house the night Senzo Meyiwa was killed.

Further allegations are that the documentary will start shooting soon.

Taking to his Twitter page, Musa Khawula wrote:

Kelly Khumalo and Zandie Khumalo-Gumede have reportedly signed a R22 miliion deal with Netflix to produce a ducu-series about the version of events that took place inside the house the night Senzo Meyiwa was killed.

Mama Joy, Maggie Phiri, some Orlando Pirates soccer players and political figures will be interviewed on the doccie.

The Netflix series is expected to start shooting soon and airing just after the Kelly Khumalo show finishes on Showmax.

However, the news did not sink in well with some social media users who accused Kelly and her sister of riding on Senzo’s death. Below are some of the comments on Twitter.

@Thims_twinkie wrote: Nah this is painful. 😪 A mother and a family are seeking justice and want to know the truth while they are seeing an opportunity to make money?

@SthembiD wrote: I want the sangoma Kelly goes to because for some reason she is unstoppable and untouchable…Get deals beke le beke ,even woke Twitter isn’t canceling her like they canceled Katlego for abuse accusations which turned out to be false

@LadyMay_K wrote: That docuseries won’t even make in time to be aired on Netflix because law will have taken its cause by then……hopefully. Just wishful thinking.

@Fikz_the_Cook wrote: If she cared and remorseful about what happened she would clear here name and tell that version of hers inside the court of law for free but no she wants to benefit from Senzo’s death

@gcume_akhile wrote: To them it’s all about making money whilst the rest of the Meyiwa family SA and Africa wants justice for Senzo. They must give their versions under oath in a court of law whers they must be cross examined extensively and in details
