The government claims to be introducing a unique empowerment program aimed at young people working in barbershops, particularly in rural areas of the nation.

To aid in their operation, the empowerment recipients will receive solar-powered barbering sets.

Youths will be able to operate their barbershops without electricity, according to Minister of Youth, Sports, and the Arts ELVIS NKANDU.

When he gave out grants and football uniforms to several young people in Lupososhi District, Northern Province, the Minister made this statement.

Additionally, Mr. Nkandu stated that the administration would keep looking for ways to address issues affecting young people.

EMMANUEL MPANKATA, a Lupososhi member of parliament, has urged the recipients of grants to put the funds to their intended use.

And DELPHISTER BWALYA, one of the beneficiaries, stated that she intends to use some of the funds to start a fish company.
