South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest’s best friend, Carpo More got candid about how his friend of over 20 years, paid a large amount of money for his surgery in the spare of the moment.
Solomon More and his friend, rapper Cassper Nyovest—real name Refiloe Maele Phoolo had netizens calling them “brothers” after hearing about the lengths the Mama I Made It hitmaker went to save his friend’s life.
In the video, More shared a heartwarming story about Cassper Nyovest’s generosity. He said the rapper coughed out R130 000 to pay for a surgery that he urgently needed.
“So now I have to go to the hospital. The first person I ran to was Refiloe. I ran to his room. I get to his room. Refiloe sees blood everywhere…He’s just panicking. He puts me in his car. I have blood everywhere,” More detailed.
Upon arriving at the hospital, the nurses informed the duo that medical aid would be required to perform the surgery.
“He’s like ‘I don’t care how much it is. I will pay for it. Just please help my friend’”, More detailed.
More shared that the Good For That hitmaker paid a whopping R130 000 for his surgery and saved his life.
“The next day, the doctor said out of 135 patience, you’re the one that survived because we cut the vein that pumps blood into your heart,” he concluded.

This is not the first time Cassper Nyovest took money out of his pocket for the benefit of another. According to TimesLive, the rapper once helped a fan known as Nompilo who was a cystic fibrosis patient and who needed a lung transplant. Her lungs were failing and only received an estimated nine percent of oxygen.
She reportedly had an online page where she raised funds to afford to travel to India where she planned to get her surgery. After the Destiny hitmaker came across Nompilo’s page, he vowed to help her out and made her dreams come true.
