Legendary actress Connie Ferguson has joined Netflix’s spy-thriller Heart of a Hunter alongside Masasa Mbangeni and Bonko Khoza. IMBD reports that the award-winning actress and producer Connie Ferguson, who’s popularly known for her roles in Generations: The Legacy and The Queen will portray the character of Molebogeng Kwena in Heart of a Hunter.

Netflix confirms that the upcoming film, Heart of the Hunter is a twisty spy-thriller based on the novel by acclaimed author Deon Meyer and directed by the renowned Mandla Dube (Silverton Siege).

It also features an all-star cast such as Connie Chiume, Bonko Khoza, Masasa Mbangeni, Sisanda Henna and so many more. The spy-thriller will launch on Netflix in the first quarter of 2024.TVSA reports that the Heart of a Hunter actress Connie Ferguson has also starred in TV shows such as The Wild, What If, Crime Reporter, Maitemogelo and SABC’s educational drama series Soul City seasons one to four.

She also had a lead role in the production Cape of Good Hope, Okavango, Danger Zone, Matswakabele seasons two and three, Lesilo Rula season two, On The Right Track and Surbuban Bliss.

The publication adds that Ferguson has also presented on Eduspectrum, Molomo Radiopotso, Is’godi, Topscore, Handy Hints, Studio Mix, Continuity – CCV and so many more. The TV producer has also appeared in TV advertisements for Ellerines, Ultramel Custard, Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion and Black Like Me.
