The bereaved family of former information minister and veteran broadcaster MWANSA KAPEYA has received a telegram of condolence from the government.
The government and people of Zambia wish the grieving family God’s consolation and strength during this difficult time, according to information and media minister CHUSHI KASANDA.
The nation has lost a leader who served the country with diligence and distinction, according to Ms. KASANDA, who serves as the Chief Government Spokesperson.
She claimed that as a broadcaster, member of parliament, cabinet minister, and ambassador, the Late Mr. KAPEYA left behind an enduring legacy of humble and unselfish devotion to the country.
Following a sickness, Mr. KAPEYA passed away yesterday at St. John’s Hospital in Lusaka.
