Makhadzi wins big at AFRIMA 2023

Congratulations are in order for musician Makhadzi after winning big at AFRIMA 2023. Makhadzi expresses excitement as she wins at the 8th AFRIMA which was held from January 12 – 15 2023 in Dakar, Senegal.

The singer won the Best Southern African Female artist of the year, and she’s taken to social media to appreciate people who supported her through votes.

“Congratulations, I made it. Your votes counted and thank you very much for choosing me as your Best Southern African Female artist. I appreciate your support very much and Afrima thank you for recognizing my hard work… Aa wee,” she wrote.

This is an exciting win for Makhadzi following the break-up news from her boyfriend, Master KG.

Though it was rumored that the two pulled a publicity stunt, but they are yet to clear the air about the saga.

Sithelo Shozi accuses her former lover, Andile Mpisane, and his mother, Shaun Mkhize of abducting her oldest child. The DJ claimed her baby daddy and his mother collided in kidnapping her daughter, Florence.

The court papers revealed that the Minister of Police Bheki Cele was part of the mission. Sithelo has two children with Andile; three-year-old Florence and one-year-old Coco Likuwe. The mother of three opened a case of abduction against them in the Johannesburg High Court. Learn More
