What you need to know about Kelly Khumalo’s alleged baby daddy, Mthokozisi Yende

Mzansi songwriter, actress, and dancer, Kelly Nonhlanhla Khumalo has seemingly given birth to her third child and reports claim that the “baby daddy” is former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mthokozisi Yende – here’s five things to know about him.

Kelly Khumalo hinted that she gave birth to her third child after sharing a photo of herself carrying a baby in a car seat on Instagram.

The singer sparked pregnancy rumours when she posted photos of herself performing on 5 December where she appeared to have a baby bump according to fans.

Zimoja has since reported that Kelly’s “baby daddy” is her rumoured boyfriend of three years – Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mthokozisi Vincent Yende. The former Kaizer Chiefs player first sparked romance rumours with Kelly back in July 2021. This was when Tweeps spotted that the pair posted photos of themselves from the same location around the same time.

The singer also has two other children — Christian who she shares with TV personality Jub Jub and Thingo, who she shares with late Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa.

Yende has not posted any photos of Kelly or the baby on Instagram. So, it is unclear whether he really is the “baby daddy”.

After he was released from Amakhosi back in 2013, Yende had vanished from the soccer scene. In October 2022, Yende revealed that he dated his boss’ mistress Robert Marawa on the SuperSport show Sitting With Stan — according to SNL.

While he may not be seen on the pitch as often, the former soccer star can be seen living his best soft life as seen in his Instagram posts. Earlier this year the soccer star treated himself to a mango peel facial to repair levels of pigmentation.
