The body of a 46-year-old Ndola resident was discovered close to his parked automobile on the dual road between Kitwe and Ndola.
Foam was gushing from Wellington Bwalya’s mouth when he was discovered lifeless in Ndola at an unknown house number.
At the time of his death, Mr. Bwalya may not have been feeling well.
According to Copperbelt Province Commanding Officer Peacewell Mweemba, the body was discovered close to a Toyota Fortuner with the license plate BCD that was parked off the road.
According to Mr. Mweemba, when police arrived at the area after receiving a call that a man had been discovered dead, they discovered Mr. Bwalya to be comatose.
“The police received a call from a concerned member of the public who was driving from Ndola to Kitwe and while on his way he found another motorist parked off the road and he had foam coming out of his mouth. Police officers rushed to the scene and found the unidentified man unconscious. He was rushed to Kitwe Teaching Hospital (KTH) where he was certified dead. The body was physically inspected and no injuries were observed. The only observation was that there was white foam coming out of his mouth, “he said.
He said Mr Bwalya was identified by his friend Chisha Lukangaba 48 of Nkana East residential area in Kitwe.
“Mr Bwalya was identified by his friend Mr Lukangaba who mentioned that the deceased was not feeling very well, “said Mr Mweemba.
