Nominations For Party President Are Now Open, Pf

Prior to the General Conference, which is scheduled to take place in March 2023, the Patriotic Front has reopened nominations for the party’s presidency.

And PF member GOODWARD MULUBWA, who is now the eighth Party’s presidential candidate, has filed his nominations, according to Vice Chairperson for Information and Publicity EMMANUEL MWAMBA.

According to Mr. MWAMBA, the opposition party will soon publish a schedule outlining when the nominations process would be reopened.

He was speaking to ZNBC News during an interview in LUSAKA.

The decision to reopen the nominations for the PF presidency, according to Mr. MWAMBA, was made during the Party’s most recent extra-ordinary Central Committee Meeting.

He claimed that this is consistent with the party’s goals of preserving democracy.
