President HICHILEMA Criticizes the Lower Level of Government

According to President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA, the lower level of government is not reacting to the top leadership’s vision and goals for progress.

The President expresses worry that attempts from the top leadership to forward the developmental agenda are being thwarted by lower government entities.

The Head of State claims that this is because local governments handle the majority of the nation’s development requirements.

Additionally, President HICHILEMA has urged government agencies to cooperate in order to stabilize the economy of the nation.

The President made this statement today in Lusaka at the Economic Growth Forum, which had the topic “Delivering Economic Growth for Zambia.”

Additionally, the government is committed to providing chances for individuals, according to Finance Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE.

According to Zambia’s Executive Director of the International Growth Centre, JONATHAN LEAPE, mining and agriculture have the potential to alter the country’s economy.
