Where is ex-Idols SA judge Randall Abrahams?

South African TV personality, author, and radio presenter best known for adjudicating the Idols SA where he gained the nickname ‘The Bad Judge’, Randall Abrahams undoubtedly disappeared from the spotlight after dropping the mic on Idols SA, leaving many trying to connect the dots on his whereabouts.

The celebrated media personality is best known as one of the Idols SA judges alongside Unathi Nkayi and Somizi Mhlongo.

In the wake of his newfound fame, Idols SA revealed that he was not part of season 18. Unathi Nkayi’s contract was also not renewed. The showrunners revealed that their exit was done in a bid to revamp the show.

Since then, little has been heard about Randall Abrahams. He hasn’t been spotted in public of late and hasn’t been active on social media.

However, the former Idols SA judge Randall Abrahams is now vice president of Primemedia International. The appointment came barely after serving seven months as Primemedia CEO.

He had his shot at fame after joining YFM. The celebrated media personality was later appointed as the station’s manager.

Since then, Abrahams has been winning big. During his tenure, he has been credited for revolutionizing SABC stations as General Manager. Randall Abrahams’ tenure saw the dominance of Metro FM, 5FM and Good Hope FM from 2003 to 2006.

Randall was once on World Idols as a judge panellist in 2003. He was also one of the judges of SA’s Got Talent.

According to reports, he has also worked as a freelance journalist with a career spanning years. He has worked with several publications, which include

Over the years, he has been reported to be part of the PR firm Total Exposure.
