STIs Are Increasing In Livingstone

The Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia in Livingstone is treating between 10 to 15 people per month for Sexually Transmitted Infections STIs.

PPAZ Clinical Officer, SAMSON CHISHA has told ZNBC News that the center attends to about two people per day with STIs between the ages of 18 and 30 years old.

Mr. CHISHA says last year alone the centre treated 180 people.

He notes that the organization has been carrying out awareness programs in English and local languages to spread the message on STIs.

Mr. CHISHA has advised the public to quickly seek medical attention if they have been exposed to STIs.
