The final 12-person roster that will compete at this year’s Region 5 games in Malawi has been selected by MOSES NDHLOVU, coach of the Zambia Under 20 national netball team.
According to NDHLOVU, the team that has been training for the past two years hopes to win gold at the competition.
He claims that the team was fairly chosen, with the majority of the participants coming from different clubs, schools, and the Youth Sports Festival that the Ministry of Youth, Sport, and Arts held earlier this year.
Five athletes will participate in the regional youth games for a second time, according to NDHLOVU, who spoke to ZNBC Sports News after they competed in Maseru, Lesotho, in December of last year.
He stated that the team will work to remain among the top competitors despite being in fourth place.
From December 2 through December 11 in Lilongwe, Malawi, there will be games.
