All farmers in the district, according to Zimba District Commissioner ROBSON MULAMFU, have been given authorization to deposit and collect agricultural inputs.
The personnel from the ministry of agriculture have received praise from Mr. Mulamfu for their dedication during the implementation of the Farmer Input Support Programme, or FISP.
He mentions that the farmers are also receiving fertilizer from the Alpha Commodities warehouse managers at the neighborhood Zimba storage sheds.
In addition, 7,900 FISP beneficiary farmers, according to Zimba District Agricultural Coordinator ALFRED SIANJASE, have all contributed their 4-kwacha to the program.
Mr. SIANJASE expressed his optimism that this week will see the completion of input collection by all farmers.
